James Vernon Cravens/Jack Cravens

James Vernon Cravens, also known as Jack Cravens, of Henderson, Kentucky, was my paternal grandfather. He died in July 1990.

He was the pastor of these churches:

Sharon General Baptist Church (Newburgh, Indiana)
Mount Zion Baptist Church (Reed, Kentucky)
Reed Community Church (Reed, Kentucky)

He officiated hundreds of weddings and funerals. If you were ever a part of his congregation, please feel free to contact me and tell me about your experience.

He was also a World War II veteran, serving in the Aleutian Islands.
