Twang Bands/Alt.Country Resources and Venues in Germany

In my ongoing and increasingly-desperate efforts to get more twang-related bands to PLEASE tour Europe (because I've lived in Germany since February 2001 and I'm going out of my mind from twang-deprivation), I offer these resources to help with the booking/tour planning of such bands.

My favorite club in Germany so far -- very decent sound system and Guiness on tap. They've even had some people from Austin on the bill (always, ofcourse, when I'm out of town). Very hard to get to by public transport.

Underground - Cologne
It bills itself as a "Rock'n'Roll und Punk Rock" club, but I've seen twangy-shows advertised, and I've been to an alt.country show there myself (Big in Iowa, 2001 -- a legendary night...). If I hadn't moved to a tiny village where the last train on a Saturday morning rolls in at 1:38 a.m. from Cologne (which means I'd have to leave around 12:30 from Cologne), I'd go much more often.
