  9. I beleive this would be a good opportunity for me interact with people across the coast from varied backgrounds who have one common goal to help others in achieving thier golas. At the same i would be able to offer IOL and its audience my expertise and ideas in the areas that i have gained experience.

  22. I hope this experience will show me what it is like to volunteer on-line. I would hope that the benefits to others would be increased understanding of computer programs.

  23. I intend to build up my expertise in these areas through volunteering with this Project. This expertise would also help me in future if I decide to embark on a new career. It also creates a portfolio of work which I can show to propective employers or clients.

    I for one, never knew that there were so many ways to help. I'm glad I saw the commercial and came to the Web site. It opened my eyes and I'd like to help spread the word to as many others as is possible.

  42. Doing something that will directly or indirectly help children will be enough of an accomplishment for me. Children's well being is a very important issue to me, so if I can volunteer my time and possibly my expertise to this Project to help some child somewhere get something he/she might not otherwise get or experience, that will be benefit enough. besides it will make me feel like I am using some of my time very wisely.

  43. Everything that is anything is now getting a web page. For non-profit organizations to get fulfill their mission they need to get their name out on the web. I would like to help those charities whose missions I agree with. I don't expect to get anything out of it.

I've had years of online experience making various web pages (just not a homepage of my own but you can look at http://macvs.fsn.net) and also doing research. I'd like to use that experience for a good purpose.
