GNA is the first virtual corporation, established in 1993, 501(c)(3) in 1994. GNA was founded by volunteers and is still run entirely by volunteers. This year we will be paying staff for the first time.

Since we are all volunteers, our rewards are primarily personal gratification. Compliments, "attaboys", and shared recognition of good work are our instruments.
